The Pacific University School of Physical Therapy offers a three-year doctor of physical therapy (DPT) degree granted to students who complete the entry-level program.  And we offer didactic and practical learning opportunities in vibrant, state-of-the-art facilities right on campus - including our Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Lab and the Boston University Physical Therapy Center After completing the DPT program and passing the licensure examination (the first-time passing rate for BU graduates has averaged 99.5 percent for the past 5 years), you'll be not only clinically competent but also truly confident as you enter clinical practice.

Currently, 199 colleges and universities nationwide support 212 accredited professional physical therapist education programs; 96% now offer the DPT and the remaining programs are planning to convert. Continuing education is typically required for physical therapists to keep their license. Physical therapists may apply to and complete a clinical residency program after graduation.
