UNTHSC is currently offering a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program on its Fort Worth campus.  In the province of Quebec, prospective physiotherapists are required to have completed a college diploma in either health sciences, which lasts on average two years, or physical rehabilitation technology, which lasts at least three years, to apply to a physiotherapy program or program in university.

PTs utilize an individual's history and physical examination to arrive at a diagnosis and establish a management plan, and when necessary, incorporate the results of laboratory and imaging studies. Over the last three years, 100 percent of BU graduates actively seeking employment found jobs. The Master of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Physical Therapy degrees have been discontinued.
